In honor of Sgt. Matthew Abbate, killed in action on 2 December 2010 in Sangin, Afghanistan, we at Patrol Base Abbate are organizing a nation-wide HERO WOD to honor the legacy of this modern-day Achilles.
All registered participants will receive an Abbate Memorial T-Shirt. Please note: registrations received after 11/22 may not receive a shirt in time for the event, so register NOW.
The Abbate HERO WOD is geographically dispersed and virtual: it can be done by yourself or at any of a number of confirmed locations.
We encourage you to do the HERO WOD with your family, friends, members of your unit, or workout buddies at your local gym.
