    Book Club #12: January 28, 2022

    in Book Club

Join us for our first reading series event of 2022 where we will discuss the concept of "Moral Injury" as it relates to the veteran experience in our day and age. This is a concept that was pioneered by the psychiatrist Dr. Jonathan Shay.

Shay's work forms the foundation on which Patrol Base Abbate is built. His work has helped guide us towards a clear and realized mission. We are stronger together in community with one another.

Start with watching the following documentary based on the work of Jonathan Shay:

Over the next few days I will post a few different works of literature that relate to this idea of "moral injury" which we will discuss at length on Zoom with a few special guests.
