I've carried a glock 23 gen 4, glock 43x, m&p shield and now a glock 19gen 5 with a TLR-1 and truglo night sights in a t-rex arms sidecar holster. Have been rocking the 19 in that holster for almost 2 years with 0 issues. I appendix carry and have 41 rounds of 9mm in a reliable package at my disposal. I gave up carrying the 43x (even with the shield arms 15 rnd mags) becuase of simple math due to recent events of mobs attacking people. More ammo=more threats you can reduce.
Thats valid. I was planning on putting a little red dot on my EDC gun but the rotary head to mill the slide wasn't operational at my school and now I've found better things for my money than a RDS
Glock 19 is a solid choice. During my last stint working undercover I went with a SIG 365XL and fell in love with it. Small enough to completely disappear and big enough to give me 13 rounds on board with roughly the same sight radius as a 19. Still run the 17 on duty though.

Solid
Yeah I’ve gone from the 43X to the 26 because of ammo. Wish glock made bigger magazines for their single stacks.
@Mikey Hall about to blow your mind! Look up Shield arms 43 x, flush 15 round magazine!
I carry a Glock 119 with a RMR RM07. I've also started to carry a Glock 43x with a RMS Shield. Red dots are life.
I love my FNX-Tac with the RDS but the low-profile of irons are very manageable for a concealment
I carry appendix so I don't find that the RDS prints any more than a slicktop.

I like the M&P Shield in 9mm.
