Hey running warriors! Just wanted to post a link to a nice 12-week training program if you are interested in adding some structure to your running or if you are looking for a way to break out of a rut. I find that it can be a nice way to shake things up and refocus when you dedicate yourself to a program / schedule. I don't recall where I read it, but someone once said that "you run the program...the program doesn't run you"...meaning that it is perfectly OK and even advisable to tweak the plan if you need an additional rest day, start to feel burned out, or just want to run shorter / longer than what is prescribed for a given day.
The plan contains a very manageable dose of some basic strength work with links to those workouts embedded in the article.
Here's the link...
Happy running out there warriors...keep showing up.
Semper Fi,
Jason
